Beside Still Waters, LLC

Shelley Lutz began her business, Beside Still Waters, LLC in 1997, by providing art galleries and boutiques with her one-of-a-kind hand painted furniture pieces. 

Shelley always had a unique ability to create something un-ordinary from the ordinary - "When I was a child I would spend hours constructing cardboard model houses – making chairs out of chapstick lids and beds from matchboxes.”  Her talents became evident through her work which reflects her whimsical, yet sophisticated style.  According to Shelley, Beside Still Waters isn’t just a name, “as Psalm 23 states, God has always guided me.  I feel truly blessed that he has led me to a place of contentment – where my creativity can be applied to brighten someone’s environment.”

Her business has now developed into a full service Interior Design Consulting firm.  Shelley’s specialty is helping clients create balance and harmony in their homes with personalized color selections, art, and custom furnishings.  When a client is looking for “out-of-the-ordinary” design, they seek the unique services that her experienced team can provide.

Shelley’s extensive portfolio of design projects reflect her unique ability to transform a living space into an extraordinary showplace.  Her style is modern, yet eclectic, warm and upscale.  Much of her inspiration comes from her European travels and frequent trips to South Beach, Miami.  She has design resources across the country, including the Miami Design District.

Shelley is an active local member of The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).  She is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio and resides in Hinckley, Ohio with her husband, Todd.
